Chain Length

Approximate Number of Links for each length option are as follows:
0.5 inches = 3 links
1 inch = 5 links
1.5 inches = 8 links
2 inches = 10 links
2.5 inches = 12 links
3 inches = 15 links
3.5 inches = 17 links
4 inches = 20 links
6 inches = 30 links
The example use noted for each length is only one possibility; please select the length you need, regardless of whether the example use applies to you
Necklace and Choker Extenders are usually 2 to 4 inches
Bracelet or Anklet Extenders are usually 1.5 inches or less (unless additional length is needed to make it fit)
Safety Chains should be long enough that they do not interfere with the main clasp, but short enough that it will keep the bracelet from slipping off your wrist if the main clasp opens.

The measurement noted for each charm in the selection menu above represents the approximate (hand-measured) TOTAL HEIGHT of the charm, from the top of the loop/highest point of the charm to the bottom/lowest point of the charm.

Q: Is “Gold Finished” the same thing as “Gold-Plated”?
A: No. “Gold-Plated” means that the thin coating is real Gold (with a karat rating). “Gold Finished” means that the coating is gold in color, but is NOT real gold (or is unknown).
Q: I need a different color or chain thickness; do you have other Extender Chain options available?
A: YES! I have several different options available (and more are “coming soon”!). You can find all my Extender Chain listings in my

Q: How do I order the Lobster Clasp size I want if it cannot be selected from the option menu?
A: The “12 x 6mm” Lobster Clasp size is the standard size I use for most of my jewelry items. All other sizes are currently available in limited quantities, so I cannot keep every possible variation available all the time; however, I can always adjust the variations and quantities listed by request. If the Lobster Clasp size you want is not currently selectable (or the combination you want does not have a high enough quantity listed), please contact me with the details so I can make it selectable. (Please make sure to specify the quantity you need and ALL the options you will be selecting, as each variation is considered a unique item and must be added to the listing separately.) The larger the Lobster Clasp, the higher the price.
Q: How do I order one of the charms you describe if it cannot be selected from the option menu?
A: For several reasons, many of the available charms/combinations are only listed by request. If the charm you want is not currently selectable (or the combination you want does not have a high enough quantity listed), please contact me with the details so I can make it selectable. (Please make sure to specify the quantity you need and ALL the options you will be selecting, as each variation is considered a unique item and must be added to the listing separately.)
Q: The End #1/End #2/Length Combination I want cannot be selected from the option menus (or there aren’t enough available). Can I order it (or a higher quantity)?
A: In most cases, YES. If the “variation” (combination of options) you want is not currently selectable (or does not have a high enough quantity listed), please contact me with the details so I can make it available for you, if it is something I can do. (Please make sure to specify the quantity you need and ALL the options you will be selecting, as each variation is considered a unique item and must be added to the listing separately.) Q: Why do you use Split Rings instead of standard Jump Rings?
A: Split Rings — also called “double rings” — work like tiny key rings, so they do not pull open the way Jump Rings can. A Jump Ring is a single ring that has been cut, so that it can be used to join two components together; this type of connection can be broken by applying enough force to the Jump Ring that it pulls open. It is much harder to pull open a Split Ring. (

Q: How much will a Lobster Clasp add to the total length of the Extender Chain?
A: One “12 x 6mm” Lobster Clasp added to one end of the chain will add approximately 0.5 inch to the total end-to-end length. (For larger sizes, the length added is as follows: 0.7 inch for “14 x 7mm”; 0.77 inch for “17 x 9mm”; 1.0 inch for “22 x 12mm”)

All U.S. shipping options include a corrugated cardboard box for maximum protection in transit.
For orders shipping outside the U.S.: the “First Class” option ships in a corrugated cardboard box; the lower cost “Standard” option ships in a Bubble Mailer. (USPS First Class International is the actual shipping method for both options.)
Additional jewelry items can be added to your order with no additional shipping charge! (Combined shipping discounts are automatically applied by the eBay system during checkout, and only apply to orders that are paid for with a single combined payment.)

Jewelry orders ship in a corrugated cardboard box for maximum protection in transit, for all shipping options

time; however, due to the nature of custom and made-to-order items, the handling time will not change.
