    Thermal paste is not included and is required to install the shim kit.  You will need to have your own thermal paste.

    Some cards made direct contact, I recommend opening the card first to confirm it has the thermal glue/gap like pictured below.  If it makes direct contact this kit will not lower gpu temps.
    Note: the shims for ram chips are not meant to replace the stock
    thermal pads, you must have the stock thermal pads to use this kit
