William Farnum Film Used sword unknown William IV 1822 infantry officer 37.5"

Here we have the first of two William Farnum film used swords from his long and illustrious career.   The family is clearing out an estate and these treasures were in along with much memorabilia.  While there was no documentation with the pieces to identify which films they were used in, because of his long career from 1917-1952 in hundreds of films we have been unable to identify which specific films they were used in.
This first offering is a William IV 1822 style infantry officers sword that measures 37.5″.  Because of its age but moreso because of its film use it is quite worn and injured in as much as it needed to be dulled for safety, has been polished and buffed many times over the years, polished and colored using who knows what materials, etc.   I attempted to reach out to film historians and also to the hollywood auction sites to try and obtain information and guidance for the pieces and they suggested scouring the films, which we have tried and searching family photos which has not yielded any exact results.   The markings on this sword read Bedford St. Cov. Garden London IV.  I tried to take images of the etching on the piece to provide as much info to the savvy buyer to guide their understanding of the piece.
